When we were kids I have fond memories of visiting our Grandparents in Aldeburgh. We vividly remember the boom of my little sailing boat breaking as I walked through the door at Horseshoe Cottage and being devastated at not being able to use the boat on the local boating pond there. Fish and chips under the sea wall with the small of salt in the air.
Recently I was asked by close family members Sue and Clare to paint Aldeburgh for them to take them down that same memory lane, and it was my pleasure to do so. Here are a couple of the paintings that I did, in case it takes anyone else back in time too.
